Norway is a great country for wildlife photography

I have been close to King Eiders and other arctic seaducks in Varanger north of the Arctic Circle as well as experiencing the amazing white-tailed sea eagles in Flatanger.

Varanger in Norway

Baatsfjord on the Varanger Peninsula in Norway borders directly to the Barents Sea and is guaranteed ice-free all year why many seaducks spend their winter here before leaving to breed in Siberia during spring. It is an amazing location for photographers to get close to arctic seaducks.

Flatanger in Norway.

Flatanger on the west coast of Norway just north of Trondheim is well known for a large population of the charismatic white-tailed sea eagles. But even more famous is the “Eagle man” Ole Martin Dahle who assist photographers from all over the world in getting close to the huge bird of pray.
