Kenya
Masai Mara National Reserve is probably the most famous Kenya safari location in East Africa. However, when travelling to Kenya I prefer the lesser known Mara North Conservancy that lies adjacent to the National Reserve. It is a densely populated wildlife area and exclusive and private to the few member camps. Game driving is allowed off-road and is never crowded and the conservancy is run on sound ecotourism practices and the camps are all very supportive to the local community.
